60 Years of Chemical Engineering Excellence in Cebu

With the consistent support of the generations of Chemical Engineers since its founding back in 1963/64, PIChE Cebu has thrived to become an important institution at the heart of the archipelago. For more than sixty years, our local chapter has strived to be the beacon of the Chemical Engineering profession in Central Visayas.

Young Asian Biological Engineers Community (YABEC) South

YABEC, is originally an international organization whose members are young biochemical engineering professionals and scholars from Asian regions including China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan. The group eventually ploriferated in various areas in Asia. The "South" Community consists of members from the ASEAN. The YABEC symposium has offered biochemical engineers the opportunity to present their latest results in research and exchange ideas in all aspects of biochemical engineering.

Bio+ Symposium

The Bio+ (Bio Plus) Symposium is the premiere research forum of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of San Carlos. Consistent to our Conference's theme, USC and PIChE Cebu synergize to provide you with the best learning experience.

Advanced Level Engineering

For the first time, PIChE Cebu will host the Advanced Level Engineering that will orient you of the available engineering accreditations. This value proposition to your professional experience will be enhanced with a hands-on training on how to apply for the various engineering registers. This training is duly-accredited by the Philippine Technological Council.

Seminar Lectures

What's an Engineering Register? Learn more about the ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer Register (ACPER), the ASEAN Engineering Register (AER), and the APEC Engineering Register (APECER) as well as the accreditation bodies such as the Philippine Technological Council.

Workshop

Start recollecting your experience and compiling evidences of your accomplishments as you will be taught how to compile them into a portfolio which is a requisite, among others, to admission to these registries.

The conference offers up to 16 ChE CPD Credit Points (pending final evaluation of the CPD Concil), a PTC-accredited ALE Training certificate, full-day meals, and a conference kit.
